good morning distinguished professors. i am glad to be here for this interview. i look forward to this exam and i will try my best. ok, first of all, please allow me to introduce myself. my name is zeng qi; you can also call me lock. i’m 23 years old and i come from fuzhou jiangxi, a beautiful city with a long history. many celebrities were born here, for instance, wanganshi, tangxianzu, zenggong and so on. i am a student of marine science college of hainan university. i am a responsible person, patient, down to the earth and rich in curiosity. in my spare time, i have broad interests like many other younger. i like reading books, especially those about chinese classics, such as mencius, tang and song poetry and a dream in red mansions. in addition, i also like fishing and riding. i have once spent 7 days in riding a cycle of hainan island with friends, which gives me more courage to make my way in my life. i always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. of course, if i am given a chance to study in this famous institute, i will spare no effort to get somewhere in this field. if possible, i hope i can continue my research and study to earn the doctor’s degree.

good morning ,my dear professors, i am glad to be here for this interview . my name is xx-x , 22 years old . i come form xx-x , a beautifual city of xx-x province . my undergraduate

period will be accomplished in xx-x university in july , majoring in plant protection .

although this university is not well known, in fact ,i really appreciate it，because it teaches me a lot and offers me a lot of chance to develop my abilities. as a student ,i worked hard and obtain scholarship four times .working as a league secretary ，i realized the importance of responsibility and cooperation.

first, let me introduce myself briefly. my name is shirley guo, which is guoxueli in chinese. i am 22 years old, born in zichang country, shaanxi province. i’m studying at xi’an jiaotong university. i major in e-commerce with a minor in law. in order to improve my english and master fundamental knowledge of computer application, i have passed cet6, the c language examination in the national computer rank examination level2 and the database examination in the national computer rank examination level3 with a ease. i always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. the scholarships i have won during these years could certificate that i work hard.

i am very easy to get on with, so i have lots of friends. and i am optimistic for that i believe in the end thing will mend. sometimes i prefer staying alone, reading, watching movies, listening to music or surfing the internet.

as for why i choose to engage in postgraduate study, there are several reasons as follow. firstly, i think further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value. it is necessary to seize any chance for self-development, especially in this competitive modern world. secondly, professor liqi is the tops in e-commerce field. i am looking forward to following him to make a more foundation for future profession after two years study here. thirdly, now the employment situation is serious. maybe through postgraduate study, i could achieve a better position.

good afternoon,honorable judges. i am glade to be here for this interview. first let me introduce myself to you. my name is **, 23. i come from zhengzhou, the capital of henan province. i will graduate from the central south university in july this year.

after four years’ extensive training in science and engineering with a focus on microbiology and biotechnology in the last one and a half years, i am fully absorbed in biology and their various novel applications. driven by my interest and capacity in these areas, i would expect myself to be a seniorprofessionalin 10-15 years time, working as either a faculty member in a university or a researcher in some institute. having realized that such a goal would require much more knowledge than what i have acquired, i am determined to pursue graduate study in a best university.

the origination of my interest dates back to my senior high school year when i attended an intensive but interesting course given by the biological teacher on general biology. my interest was reinforced when i had the opportunity to participate in some research projects in the central south university. in may, 2003, i began working with prof.zhou to do research on microbial treatment processes for the nitrogen removal in wastewater. i participated in the separation method of nitrifier and denitrifier (chemolithoautotrophic bacteria, very small colony, grows slow, have the same color with the culture medium) and do some research on their physiology characteristics. i have been consciously strengthening my research ability by teaching myself advanced knowledge including microbial physiology, microbial statistics. through these projects, i have not only learned many practical techniques but also acquired a solid theoretical background and a broad scope in scientific research in my fields of interest.

despite the intensive curriculum, i have always kept an eye on a broader world outside. as a member of the csu-students union, i’ve improved my communication and cooperation skills through some meaningful activities.

it has become clear to me that a good academic environment can play a very important role in my pursuit of excellence. i believe pursuing a master’s degree at csu, would be a most reasonable extension of my academic pursuit and a major step forward toward my career goal.
